As of today, I'm level 41...
And if you get that reference, you're as much a geek as I am. ;)

Joe Abercrombie: Last Argument Of Kings: The First Law: Book Three: First Law Bk. 3 (Gollancz S.F.)
Deliciously dark fantasy, part three of three.
I had a lot of travel this month (more about that in a later blog post) and as usual wanted something to read on those train trips. I found the first part by chance and devoured it. Parts two and three soon after.
Not for the squeamish. The book takes several fantasy literature stereotypes and twists them ever so slightly into a maliciously funny and enjoyable tale.
Joe Abercrombie: Before They Are Hanged: The First Law: Book Two: Book Two of the First Law (Gollancz S.F.)
Deliciously dark fantasy, part two of a trilogy
Joe Abercrombie: The Blade Itself: Book One Of The First Law (Gollancz S.F.)
Delicioudly dark fantasy, first part of a trilogy.
Kay Gardiner, Ann Shayne: Mason-Dixon Knitting: Outside the Lines: Patterns, Stories, Pictures, True Confessions, Tricky Bits, Whole New Worlds, and Familiar Ones, Too
How could I not...
Some day I have something to tell about this, regarding opportunities missed...
Christopher Paolini: Brisingr (Inheritance Cycle)
Number three in the series.
And of course there's a number four...
Neal Stephenson: Anathem
A touch heavy. You need to know your syntax.
Terry Pratchett: Nation
Not Discworld, but great book!
Anne Dixon: The Handweaver's Pattern Directory: Over 600 Weaves for Four-Shaft Looms
A good collection of weaving patterns.
Jane Gottelier: Indigo Knits: The Quintessential Guide to Denim Yarn from the Founders of Artwork
Great book! Not just some great knitting, but also great photographs of the Cornish landscape and seaside.
